Our campus is located on a sunny hill in St.Gallen which offers a lovely view of the city. It is well-connected to the public transport network, and is about 15 minutes on foot from the city centre or the train station.
Renovated and extended
Within a period of five years, between 2006 and 2011, the approximately 40-year-old campus was completely renovated and extended. In addition to new classrooms, an underground car park, a large new cafeteria, and a modern sports centre with a wide variety of facilities have been built on campus. Furthermore, the classrooms have been brought up to the state of the art and adapted to contemporary forms of teaching. In addition, the number of learning places have been increased.
Manageable and modern
Our campus is compact, with a manageable size and a modern infrastructure, helping students both in their individual and group study activities. With two well-equipped day care centres on campus we are able to offer an attractive environment for students with children.

The University of St.Gallen is not only a place of teaching and learning but also a place of culture and art. Works from Arp, Miró, Braque, Giacometti, Richter and other artists are presented in a unique dialogue with the buildings, designed by architects Walter M. Förderer and Bruno Gerosa.

To keep your body and mind in balance, our UniSport programme offers a wide range of sports and recreational activities.
Consultation on health-related issues
UniSport is charged with maintaining a sport programme that enhances not only learning but also the quality of life of University students and employees, providing with advice on sport and health-related matters.
Balancing work and studies
Furthermore, through our sports programme we want to promote physical exercise among our University members as a work-life balancing strategy. University sport cultivates a lifestyle that is crucial for countering inactive study and workplace routines.
HSG Shop
The HSG Shop GmbH was founded in December 2004 as a joint venture between the University of St.Gallen and the HSG Alumni. The HSG Shop sells University merchandise. The idea is to provide members and friends of the University with an opportunity to express their sense of connection with the University of St.Gallen.
Library
Our library specialises in scientific publications. It is a public library, accessible to everyone. Its collection mainly comprises works on economics, law, the social sciences and the humanities.
In addition to our scientific documents and resources, the library also offers well-stocked collections of literature, best-sellers, audio-books, magazines and journals, and even a small collection of comic books.
Catering
The University of St.Gallen offers a wide range of catering options, for lunch, snacks, aperitifs or banquets.
