Archival holdings

We preserve archival records related to the history of the University from the founding of the School of Commerce in 1898 to the present.

The records are predominantly files in paper form. In addition, electronic documents, photos, videos, sound recordings, posters, maps, plans, flyers, seals, stamps and other sources are also archived.

Most of our documents are digitized. The written documents and HSG publications are searchable in full text.

A small selection of historical footage from the university's history can be found on our Youtube channel.

Terms of protection
For data protection reasons, personal files are subject to an extended protection period (10 years after death or 100 years after birth). If the protection period has not yet expired, inspection is only possible with the consent of the person concerned.
